1. Write a tagline that says what it does
Your tagline is the first thing people read on every card. Skip the slogan and say the job:
- Weak: "The future of work."
- Strong: "Issue tracking built for high-performance teams." — that's Linear.
Keep it under 60 characters so it never gets cut off.
2. Pick the right category and tags
People browse by category and search by keyword. Choose the category your buyer would look in first, then add tags for the problems you solve — invoicing, scheduling, ai-writing — not your tech stack.
3. Add real screenshots
Listings with screenshots get more clicks than ones with a website preview alone. Show the product doing its main job, not your marketing site. Three to five images is the sweet spot.
4. Tell your maker story
The maker story is a short paragraph on why you built it. Specific beats polished: "I was chasing three clients for late payments" earns more trust than "We're passionate about productivity."
5. Share what you built it with
If you used Lovable, Bolt, v0, Cursor, or Supabase, list it. Your app shows up on the matching built-with page, which is a second way for people to find you.
6. Launch early in the week
The weekly leaderboard resets every Monday. Launching Monday or Tuesday gives your upvotes and visits the whole week to add up.
7. Bring your first 20 people
